Golf Equipment Donations

Thank you for thinking of The First Tee participants when looking to make a donation of golf equipment.  Currently the chapter is accepting junior golf clubs, golf balls, and some newer adult golf clubs for our players.  We request that these items be in a condition that will be useful in teaching our children about the game of golf.  If you are unsure, please call the chapter office, 815-965-5057, so we may assist you with your decision.  We appreciate your desire to assist our children with their golf and life skills experience at The First Tee of Greater Rockford.

Illinois "Support Youth Golf" License Plate

Proceeds from the sales of the Illinois Golf license plate help the Illinois PGA Foundation provide Illinois youth summer jobs in the golf industry, scholarships and school-based programming.  In 2010-2011, the Foundation provided grant support to Illinois chapters of The First Tee including matching grants to help sponsor The First Tee National School Program in elementary schools located in Chicago, Joliet and Rockford.
